BIKE Transalp 2017 - Alpe Cimbra
The BIKE Transalp powered by Sigma 2017 is the toughest amateur mountain bike stage race across the Alps.
In seven stages nearly 500 teams-of-two ride challenging trails, steep up- and downhill along wonderful backgrounds and panoramas from Mayrhofen (Austria) to Riva del Garda.
The 20th Bike Transalp edition will take place from July 16th to July 22rd where the bikers will ride overall 550 kilometers and an altitude gap of 18.000 meters.
The BIKE Transalp is THE mountain bike highlight and a „Must-Have“ of the international mountain bike scene.
Bikers from more than 40 countries participate every year.
The sixth stage - the news of this edition- will start in Trento and the finish line will be in Lavarone (Alpe Cimbra).
The bikers will climb up to Alpine Hut Maranza, passing through Vigolo Vattaro and then up again to Passo della Fricca where they will ride along the well-known trail of 100 KM of the FORTRESSES.
On July 22nd the last stage will start in Lavarone, passing through Folgaria to Riva del Garda as the final destination.

• 2 (17th July): Brixen – St. Vigil
• 3 (18th July): St. Vigil – St. Christina
• 4 (19th July)): St. Christina – Kaltern
• 5 (20th July) Kaltern – Trento
• 6 (21st July): Trento – Lavarone
• 7 (22nd July): Lavarone – Riva del Garda
